 The
Project
This organization provides comprehensive care to 42 children ages
4-12 whose mothers are in prison. The program places the children
in a home under close supervision of an “aunt” and provides
them with preventive health care, nutrition, education, and psychological
assistance.
 The
Children
These 42 children were born into extreme poverty and as a result
of the absence of a child services system and family members willing
to take care of these children, they lived their first four years
in jail suffering many
psychological and physical consequences.
