• IMAGINE … A world where every single person contributes a piece of their good fortune to children in poverty? How would this world be?

Who we are: We are a group of individuals taking action to improve the lives of children in poverty in Latin America. We organize great events at hip places in Miami, so you can network, meet new people, and the main beneficiaries are the children.

Our Story: Our first and foremost inspiration was and is the children: Our first and foremost inspiration was and is the children. They are born with challenges and needs of all kinds. We have the power to help them. Generosity Network and Fundación Manos del Sur provide a way to share our life, prosperity, and hope with these children. Though we live in Miami we haven't forgotten where we came from. We welcome the opportunity to help these children and their communities grow towards a better future

Second, our friends: We all have friends from different countries and we wanted to get them together. We network, enjoy life, learn about our cultures, share our similarities as well as our uniqueness, create relationships that will last a lifetime, and raise awareness that it is possible to change the lives of these children.  Who knows what else we can do together?

Taking Action
So… in early 2004, a group of volunteers founded the Generosity Network, whose purpose is to support Fundación Manos del Sur in its mission to assist children in extreme poverty in Latin America. We raise funds for the children through proceeds from events, donations and the Sponsor a Child program. These events include cocktail parties, wine-tastings, cultural and adventure activities. All events bring together a group of people from diverse backgrounds interested in making a difference for children in Latin America, networking and enjoying life.

Generosity Network was inspired and founded by volunteers and country Project Managers of Fundacion Manos del Sur. Currently, we help over 1,000 children in eight Latin American countries: Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.

Goals
Generosity Network's goals are two-fold:
1. To create a network individuals and organizations committed to raising awareness and taking action for children in extreme poverty in Latin America
2. To assist Fundación Manos del Sur in their mission:

• To raise funds for children in extreme poverty to provide for their basic needs: nutrition, medical assistance and education.
• Inspire others to lead projects that help children in Latin America
• Raise awareness for children in extreme poverty in Latin America

To create an international Network of individuals supported by corporations, universities, and development organizations to assist in the worldwide commitment to alleviate poverty in Latin America - an organization for future generations. Working together we can make it happen.
