2003 GENEROSITY POLO MATCH TO BENEFIT THE CHILDREN

Last March, Manos del Sur organized a Polo match to benefit the projects in Argentina at the Palm Beach Polo and Country Club, in association with the Argentine Embassy in Washington, the Argentine Consulate in Miami, and FIDEC (Fighting Infectious Diseases in Emerging Countries).

Some of the best players from around the world came together to benefit the children of Argentina. The players together created an 40 goal match making this game one of the most interesting and important events in the region and the season. More than 1,000 people attended the match and its success continues to be talked out today.

Various personalities, celebrities, models and other important people were also present, reinforcing the success for the Sponsors who had faith in our Foundation and who partnered with us to benefit the children and projects.

This glorious afternoon also featured a delicious lunch provided by La Estancia and Novecento in Miami Beach, a tango show Sponsored by Banco Nacion Argentina, and other activities such as a silent auction, drawings, and a day care center for guests’ children.
