Paulina Montes is founding President
and volunteer of Fundación Manos del Sur.
She is the CEO/CFO and is in charge of all administrative, financial
and legal matters as well as country manager of Argentina. Previously,
she worked as a financial analyst for Alto Parana S.A.
in Argentina. She graduated form Universidad Católica
Argentina where she earned a degree in Business Administration.

Claudia Batlle is founding Vice
President, Director and volunteer of Fundación Manos
del Sur. She leads the fundraising programs, events, corporate
relationships, and institutional marketing. Previously she worked
for The Americas Trust Bank as a Fund Manager managing
Latin American emerging markets funds with over $100 million in
assets. At the time, the mutual funds she managed ranked in the
top performers according to the Micropal Emerging Markets Funds
Ranking System (Standard & Poor's). Before that, she was trader
and Operations and Financial Principal at AIBC Financial Services,
a US broker dealer, where she traded U.S. securities and supervised
the firm's operational and accounting activities. She graduated
with honors from the Florida International University,
and is a candidate for a Master in Finance.

Gonzalo
Parodi is an executive with 12 years experience in Investment Banking
and Capital Markets, focusing in Emerging Markets. Educated in development
economics at the London School of Economics, he served as analyst
and energy futures trader for Refco Inc., on his way to becoming
actively involved in the process of restructuring of the commercial
bank and bilateral debt of Latin American countries in the early
1990’s. Mr. Parodi is Managing Director and Board member of
Hencorp Becstone LC, a Florida Financial Services company specializing
in diverse areas ranging from institutional commodities hedging
and Capital Markets to Private Banking and Asset Management.

Marcelo
Young is currently President of Transnational Foods Inc.,
a food distribution company that currently represents four Argentinean
companies. Transnational also offers consulting services
to companies looking to expand their markets internationally. Marcelo
has enjoyed a successful international business career before Transnational.
His beginnings are in banking where he worked in Bank of Boston
in export financing. Then he joined Molinos de
Rio de La Plata S.A., from 1989-1999, where he was responsible
for the International Business Development department, handling
more than $180 million in revenues and $25 million in profits in
1999. During this time he lived in 4 countries, Brasil, Russia,
Belgium and France. In 2002, he moved to Miami to become COO of
Viajo Inc. an Internet venture financed by Chase Capital
Partners, GP Investimentos, GE Capital, Morgan Stanley, and others.
In 2000, Viajo raised US$40 million, one of the largest
financings for a Latin American Internet business. Marcelo earned
his Bachelors Degree at the University of Buenos Aires in Economics
and his Masters in IAE Argentina.

Gustavo is a director and volunteer and manages the technical and
operational areas since 2002. Previously, he was Vice President
of Technology and Operations for Telefónica from Spain.
He has more than 20 years of experience in technical and marketing
areas, including companies like IBM and Bellsouth.
Gustavo received his B.S. in Chemical engineering from Universidad
de Buenos Aires.

Andrea Vargas is also a founder of Fundación Manos
del Sur and country project Manager of Chile. Previously
she worked in the marketing and distribution division of IBM
in Santiago, Chile. She graduated from the School of Business Administration
and Economics of the Pontífica Universidad Católica
de Chile.

Inés joined Manos del Sur in 2001 as a volunteer. She is
Country Project Manager of Venezuela and member of the Board of
Directors. She graduated with a degree in Psychology in Universidad
Católica de Venezuela and then earned her diploma in
Family Counseling in Universidad de Navarra, Spain. After
arriving to the United States in 1990, she obtained her Certificate
in Journalism and worked at Univision addressing family
oriented issues to the Hispanic audience. Today, she works as independent
producer and brokerage for Latin American sports television channels.
