COST:           $85 at the door.

$75 if pre-registered by November 11th or if a member of Rotary or any of the charities associated with the event.

 A variety of food delicacies prepared by several prominent South Florida restaurants are included in the price of admission. 

Cash, check, credit cards welcome (Visa, MasterCard, American Express accepted). 

WHAT:         Thirteen varietal wines from the New World will compete against wines from the Old World to earn recognition as "Best of Show” in each class.  


Shari Gherman, president of the American Fine Wine Competition & Charity Wine Gala, is our wine director again this year.  Four other noted wine professionals, Chip Cassidy, wine professor at FIU; Wendy Rosano, Sommelier and wine director at Terra Fiamma in Delray Beach; Roberto Colombi, Sommelier and GM of The Blue in the Boca Raton Resort, and Henry Barrow, Wine Educator, will complete the professional Judging panel. 


All presented wines have been graciously supplied by Strategic Importers and will be available for sale at the event through El Carajo, our official wine retailer.  El Carajo will coordinate all orders, payment, delivery and pick-up, and will donate 10 percent of sale proceeds to the Rotary Club of Key Biscayne Foundation. A variety of food delicacies prepared by several prominent South Florida restaurants are included in the price of admission.


Rotary’s collaboration continues with the ARC  of South Florida, whose members will organize the silent auction and receive part of the proceeds to fund its programming. Auction lots will consist of more than 100 items, including travel, restaurant vouchers, sports memorabilia, and other goods and services. 


Additionally, the Rotary Club of Key Biscayne Foundation has designated proceeds to benefit Fundacion Manos del Sur’s educational work with programs to promote healthcare and disease prevention offered through Fundación Stamboulian and the Rotary Club in Argentina.  These programs provide families and the educational community, including students and teachers, with clear and accurate information regarding preventing measures and healthy habits such as vaccinations, good nutrition, hand washing, taking care of their teeth. It also promotes emotional health through the development of self-esteem, creating positive relationships with others. Implemented through the schools, the programs will reach several thousand children and their families. Headquartered in Miami, Fundación Manos del Sur is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to underprivileged children in Latin America in the areas of education, health and nutrition.
